Toscana

This selection of oil sketches on paper was painted over the years during visits to my hometown of Florence, Italy. I did not have to go far to find inspiration, often going back to the same location and sometimes the same exact spot, years apart. Capturing the peace of the Tuscan countryside, the poetry of cypresses, red rooftops and small towns, these sketches celebrate and cherish a landscapes that is so close to my heart.
